Equine Public Presentations Contest

The Snohomish County 4-H Horse Program holds an Equine Public Presentation Contest each year. The contest is open to all Intermediates and Seniors. The contest consists of three categories which the members can compete in:

• Public Speaking
• Individual Presentation
• Team Presentation

There is only one contest to determine the state teams, who then compete at State Fair for a chance at going to Nationals in Kentucky in the fall.

Snohomish County 4-H holds workshops to assist members in all stages of the contest, from picking a topic, layout, audio and visual aids and presenting. They also give members a chance to present what they have put together to the workshop presenters for practice.
