Trail Horse Class in the Field
Trail Horse Class in the Field is a trail course with usually around 10 judged obstacles. Obstacles can include a stream crossing, fallen logs, bucket carry, mailbox and other things that could naturally occur along a trail.
You ride with a 3-5 person group and the ride is usually about 2 hours. Anyone in 4-H can ride in the event from Walk/Trot to Platinum riders. Parents and alumni are encouraged to participate as well.
The ride is usually held at either Lord Hill Park in Snohomish or at Pilchuck Tree Farm.
There is a Trail Horse Class in the Field offered in the Fall and Spring or Summer.The Fall ride usually includes a costume contest. .
