Harness Driving
Harness Driving is a discipline where the horse pulls a cart. The handler, or driver, sits in the cart and controls the horse by long reins, a driving whip, and voice cues. Competitions include rail work, maneuvering around obstacles, and performing patterns. Driving shows also have the in-hand class of showmanship.

When does it meet?
Driving shows meet with small equine shows in the fall, spring and summer.
How is it judged?
Some classes are judged on the Danish system. Medals are offered for Reinsmanship, Driving Trail and Showmanship. All classes award placings from 1st – 8th.
